Achik-Tash Base Camp
Location: Kyrgyzstan

The camp is located at an altitude of 4000m, in the heart of the Northern Tien Shan, at the confluence of the South Inylchek glacier (also Engilchek) and its left tributary — the Zvezdochka glacier.
Nearest large settlement: City of Karakol.
The easiest option is to get to the BC by helicopter from the Karkara Base Camp or from the Maida-Adyr Transshipment Camp. Or on foot in 4–5 days.

The camp is conveniently located for climbing Lenin Peak. The camp has everything you need for living and organizing ascents: tents, electricity, excellent food, a shower, a bathhouse, radio communications, a satellite phone, a left-luggage office, the Internet and, most importantly, the kindness and warmth of the staff, consisting of experienced climbers and tourists.
Above the Achik-Tash Transshipment Camp is ABC (Camp 1) on the Lenin Glacier — an altitude of 4200 m, located 5–7 hours walk from the Achik-Tash BL. Camp 1 also has everything necessary for living and organizing ascents: tents, electricity, excellent food, a shower, a bathhouse, a left-luggage office, radio communication, a satellite phone.
