Northern Inylchek Base Camp
Location: Kyrgyzstan
Working hours: July – August
Height: 4100 m
Northern Tien-Shan at the South Inylchek glacier in the confluence with Zvezdochka glacier, at a height of around 4000m above the sea level.
Nearest large settlement: City of Karakol.
The easiest option is to get to the BC by helicopter from the Karkara Base Camp or from the Maida-Adyr Transshipment Camp. Or on foot in 4–5 days.
Information and Services:
The base camp is conveniently located for climbing Khan Tengri peak (7010) from the south side and to Pobeda peak (7439). The camp has everything necessary for living and organizing ascents: tents, excellent food, a shower, radio communications, a satellite phone and, most importantly, the goodwill and warmth of the staff, consisting of experienced climbers and tourists.
