Southern Inylchek Base Camp
Location: Kyrgyzstan
Working hours: July – August
Height: 4000 m
Northern Tien-Shan, at the Inylchek glacier on the moraine and under the Northeast slope of Chapaev peak at the height of 4100 m above the sea level.
Nearest large settlement: City of Karakol.
How to get there: The easiest option is to get to the BC by helicopter from the Karkara Base Camp or from the Maida-Adyr Transshipment Camp. Walking is difficult (5–6 days).
Services provided:
The base camp is conveniently located for climbing the Khan Tengri peak from the north. The camp has everything necessary for living and organizing ascents: tents, excellent food, a shower, radio communications, a satellite phone and, most importantly, the goodwill and warmth of the staff, consisting of experienced climbers and tourists.
