You cross the territory of Kyrgyzstan from the North to the South. You have to overcome several mountain passes. The road is different: in some parts it is very good but in some places it is very hard to move. You will see a lot of landscapes of different climatic zones: green valleys and fir forests, alpine meadows and snows, fast rivers and lakes with pure water. Central Asia is a place where many paths of the Great Silk Road met. You will make an acquaintance with the life style of the local people and historical memorials.

The program of the “Along the Silk Road”
Day 1
Arrival in Bishkek. Meeting at the Manas airport. Transfer to Bishkek. Hotel accommodation. Lunch in the city. After lunch, city tour: visit to the Historical museum, the central square “Ala-Too”. Dinner in the city. Return to the hotel.
Day 2
Training day by bikes. Bike trip from the city of Bishkek to the village of Kashka-Su, and then through the pass (2262 m) to the Chunkurchak gorge. The distance is about 55 km. Transfer by car to Bishkek. Overnight in Bishkek at the hotel.
Day 3
Bishkek — Suusamyr Valley. Transfer 120 km to the Kara-Balta gorge. Before the Tuia-Ashu pass the participants take their bikes. It is the beginning of the long bike tour. 3‑km of tunnel at an altitude of 3586 m you can cross only by car. Night in tents in the wide valley on the bank of Suusamyr River.
Day 4
Suusamyr Valley — Kara-Keche Gorge. Bike trip down to Kekemeren gorge and then up along the river Dzhumgal to the camp in the Kara-Keche valley. Distance 80 km. Overnight in tents.
Day 5
Kara-Keche Gorge — Sonkul Lake. Ascent of the Kara-Keche pass (3364 m) on the winding road. There is a beautiful view from the pass on the big Son-Kul Lake (at an altitude of 3016 m). Distance 60 km. Overnight at the yurt camp.
Day 6
Sonkul Lake — the Naryn River. From the Son-Kul Lake the group moves in the Southern direction to the Moldo Ashuu pass (3243). Long descend to the Naryn River – the biggest river in Tien Shan. Distance 60 km. Overnight in tents.
Day 7
Naryn River — Terek-Sai. Cross the bridge to the left bank of the river and move towards Bajetovo village. Then the group moves to the Terek-Sai River. Distance 55 km. Overnight in tents.
Day 8
Terek-Sai — Tash-Rabat. After the pass Kulak-Ashu (3290 m) you reach the Kara-Kojun valley, cross the highway Bishkek – Torugart and reach caravanserai Tash-Rabat. Distance 60 km. Overnight at the yurt camp.
Day 9
Tash-Rabat — Naryn city. Part of the journey from the Tash-Rabat to the Naryn city the group rides bicycles Overnight at a guest house in the city of Naryn.
Day10
Naryn city — Kochkor village. Part of the journey from the city of Naryn to the village of Kochkor, the group rides bicycles through the Dolon Pass (3030 m). Distance 120 km. Overnight at the guesthouse in Kochkor.
Day 11
Kochkor — Bishkek. The rest of the way to Bishkek, the group travels by car. Distance 200 km. Overnight at a hotel in Bishkek.
Day 12
Fly home. Transfer to the airport. Flight back home.

Every member must have a mountain bicycle, sleeping bag, sleeping-pad, warm clothes, helmet and sunglasses.
