Kyr­gyzs­tan has a lot of oppor­tu­ni­ties for heliski­ing in the moun­tains. 95% of the ter­ri­to­ry of the coun­try is lying in the moun­tains of Tien-Shan. Hun­dreds of vir­gin slopes are wait­ing for the skiers who love wild nature and nice free runs on the fresh snow. Expe­ri­enced pilots of the heli­copter MI‑8 MTV can land on the peaks and pass­es at the alti­tude of 4500 m, with the group of 16 skiers.

In winter:The snow is pow­dery with the depth of 0,7 – 1 m. Avalanche risk is min­i­mal.

In spring: The snow is flaky with the depth of 1 – 1,2 m. Avalanche risk is mid­dle.

Ski tour program for “Kyrgyz Ala-Too Range”

Day 1
A group arrives in the Man­as air­port locat­ed 35 km from Bishkek. Our team (expe­ri­enced heliski­ing guides) meets skiers at the air­port and dri­ve togeth­er to the Kash­ka-Suu moun­tain hotel (30 km from Bishkek). Check in in dou­ble room cot­tages, break­fast.
Day 2–7
Prepar­ing for heli ski­ing, dis­cus­sion details with our guides. Fly to the moun­tains. Heli­copter lands on the top and all skiers get off. One of our guides is in the heli­copter all the time for radio con­nec­tion and avalanche sit­u­a­tion con­trol. Skiers ride down and take seats at the heli­copter for one more rid­ing. If group likes this region we can do it a few times. If not, we fly to anoth­er spot. Around 12:00 pm we find a good place to land and have a lunch. After lunch ski­ing till 2:00 pm and fly back to the hotel. Free time. Heli­copter is based not far from the cot­tages. In case of non-fly­ing weath­er it is pos­si­ble to use ski lift at near the hotel. Or we can orga­nize excur­sion to Bishkek (vis­it­ing the muse­ums, restau­rants). It’s pos­si­ble to make 6–8 and more down­hill rid­ing depend­ing on phys­i­cal train­ing of the team. Sum­ma­rized height dif­fer­ence could be about 6000 m.
Day 8
Tans­fer to air­port. Depar­ture home.

Ski Tour Program for Terskey Ala-Too Ridge

Day 1
A group arrives in the Man­as air­port locat­ed 35 km from Bishkek. Our team (expe­ri­enced heliski­ing guides) meets skiers at the air­port. After break­fast heli­copter flight to Karakol (2 hours). On arrival in Karakol check in the hotel and prepar­ing for heli ski­ing, dis­cus­sion details with our guides.
Day 2–6
Heliski­ing on the slopes of Terskey Ala-Too Range. Fly to the moun­tains. Heli­copter lands on the top and all skiers get off. One of our guides is in the heli­copter all the time for radio con­nec­tion and avalanche sit­u­a­tion con­trol. Skiers ride down and take seats at the heli­copter for one more rid­ing. If a group likes this region we can do it a few times. If not, we fly to anoth­er spot. Around 12:00 pm we find a good place to land and have a lunch. After lunch ski­ing till 2:00 pm and fly back to the hotel. Free time. In case of non-fly­ing weath­er ski­ing (using ski lifts) is pos­si­ble or we can orga­nize excur­sion to Karakol.
Day 7
Morn­ing heliskiing/Terskey Ala-Too Range area. After­noon heli­copter flight to Bishkek.
Day 8
Tans­fer to air­port. Depar­ture home.

Heli­copter flight to the Teo-Ashu Ski Base locat­ed in 130 km from Bishkek. Check in and break­fast on arrival. Prepar­ing for heli ski­ing and dis­cus­sion details with our guides.
Day 2–6
Heliski­ing in Suusamyr Val­ley. Fly to the moun­tains. Heli­copter lands on the top and all skiers get off. One of our guides is in the heli­copter all the time for radio con­nec­tion and avalanche sit­u­a­tion con­trol. Skiers ride down and take seats at the heli­copter for one more rid­ing.
